BLACK WIDOW

(Lars Glasø)

She offered me a mantle of pure silk,

I just had to come closer

Her compassion for me was sincere, I think,

but I had no intention to go further

She was looking so good from where I stood

She was looking so fine I just lost my mind

Then I felt a prick in my skin

and woke up in her web of satin

Black widow, black widow, with your red mark underneath

I'm a captive in your sheet

Black widow, black widow, what time do you eat?

I don’t look forward to meet!

I knew I had to get out of here

Thinking straight was hard, 'cause I was full of fear

I called for help maybe someone would hear

but nobody seemed to care

I realized she was dangerous and not my friend

She wouldn't allow me to move freely again

I tried to escape but there was no way out

And nobody could hear me shout

Black widow, black widow, with your red mark underneath

I'm a captive in your sheet

Black widow, black widow, what time do you eat?

I don’t look forward to meet!

I was searching for a way to get on my feet

She was definitely a woman I didn’t want to meet

Then I heard a voice so gentle and sweet

I forgot everything about my retreat

Black widow, black widow, with your mark underneath

I’m waiting beneath your sheet

Black widow, black widow, what time can we meet?

I’m looking forward to greet!
